This is my fourth year teaching 4th grade,
and I love it more each year! I started teaching 4th grade at
Wood Elementary in West Columbia, South Carolina. After moving
near Moncks Corner, I interviewed at FDES and crossed my fingers
that I would be offered a job. I was, and here I am!
I will be teaching all subject areas in 4th grade this year. I'm
very excited to work on new research projects that integrate
science and social studies with lots reading and writing. If you
are one of my students, make sure you have plenty of pencils!
I am married to Tim Strunck, Project Manager with TBK
Construction. I am
so excited to be married to such a wonderful person! We have a
100 pound Rhodesian Ridgeback named Kovu, who acts more like my child than my
dog. Don't worry, I tell lots of stories about him to anyone who
will listen.
